This is to notify general Public that Bhutan Health Trust Fund is delinked from Royal Government of Bhutan and will be working as Autonomous agency (self sustaining entity) with effect from 1st October 2018. This is as per the approval no. C-3/163/974 dated 12/07/2018 of Offtg. Cabinet Secretary and subsequent approval no. RCSC/PPD-40/2018/5870 of Director, RCSC.
Bhutan Health Trust Fund would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation for the generous contribution of US$ 5,000/- (US Dollar five thousand only) by Mr. Shun Umezawa from Japan.

The Annual Performance Agreement (2016-17) was signed between the Director of Bhutan Health Trust Fund(BHTF) and the Honorable Health Minister/Chairperson of BHTF on 27/7/2016. BHTF pledged to finance 100 % of the Essential Drugs and 100 % of the Pentavalent vaccines for the country which is going to cost a at least Ngultrum 335 million for 2016-17 financial year.
